Trash Talk Tuesday for 11/13/2018
Welcome back to your weekly “Trash Talk Tuesday” article, this week we want to bring your attention to another recycling misconception, that being propane tanks. Now some people may think that this is pretty straight forward and that everyone knows that propane tanks should NOT be recycled but there are still some people that try to recycle them. We are here to tell you that propane tanks should NOT be thrown in your curbside recycling container because this is extremely dangerous. Not only could the tank cause an explosion in the truck picking up your trash but it could potentially cause an explosion at the recycling facility where many people are sorting the recycling materials. Keep everyone safe and DO NOT recycle propane tanks.
