Recycling Guidelines

All Waste, Inc. Single Stream Recycling /Trash Chart
• Please place containers out the night before your collection day.

• Containers should be within 2 ft of the curb and 3-4 ft. away from all objects including other carts.

• Place all recyclable items together in the single stream cart.

All Waste, Inc. provides Single Stream Recycling for all of our curb-side refuse/recycling customers. All acceptable recyclable materials can be put into the blue single stream cart. The cart should be placed out the night before pickup, and kept along side the trash cart, but no closer than 3 feet from the trash cart or any other object. PAPER

Including newspaper, inserts, advertising flyers, magazines, envelopes (with/without windows) , and junk-mail.

• Place all paper items in recycling cart. No longer need to be bundled or tied.

Place shredded paper into paper bags.
• Dirty or contaminated newspaper.

• Hard Cover Books

• Dirty or contaminated (food waste, etc.) papers, paper towels, etc.
• Kitchen waste/household trash

• Plastic Bags

CARDBOARD

Including all types of cardboard, fiber board, cereal boxes, etc.
• Flatten Boxes

• Cut large pieces small enough to fit loosely into cart

• No longer needs to be tied or bundled.
• Dirty or contaminated cardboard.(pizza boxes)

What NOT to TRASH

• Glass Bottles

•Wash containers

•Labels and neck rings DON'T have to be removed

•DON'T break bottles

•Place in recycling cart, no sorting needed.

•Put excess in paper bags next to cart (DON'T use plastic bags)


NOTE: plastic bottles can be clear or colored and include detergent bottles, bleach bottles, shampoo bottles, etc.

• Automotive Fluid Cont. (e.g.. oil, antifreeze, etc.)

• Aerosol(spray) cans

• Food & beverage containers NOT made of glass, tin, aluminum, or plastic

• Containers larger than 1 gallon

• Other cans or glass bottles (paint cans, medicine bottles, etc.)

• Other glass items (light bulbs, window glass, dishes, etc.)

• Ceramic items (bottles, dishes, flower pots, etc.)

• Yard Waste (leaves, grass, dirt)

• Plastic bags (including grocery bags)

• Recyclable Items

• Construction debris

• Hot ashes, flammable items.

• Extra containers are provided for an additional charge. Replacement containers lost or damaged through customer negligence will be billed to you at cost.

• Large items such as sofas, refrigerators, lawn mowers, etc. can be picked up by special arrangement. There is a service charge.
