Welcome back to your weekly “Trash Talk Tuesday” article, this week we want to bring your attention to another recycling misconception and that is used paper towels. Some people believe that since the word “paper” is in “paper towels” that this product can be recycled. However, this is False. The reason that used paper towels cannot be recycled is because once you use them to clean up a spill or wipe something down the paper towel becomes contaminated not allowing it to be recycled. Recycle right!
